The anchoring bolt with plastic expansion case made in our company is assembled with plastic cone, plastic case, metal rod and accessories. The product acquired the national Patent (ZL0.1260373). It is original creation in China, features of light weight, compact, easy for installation and operation, long service life, strong anchoring strength, metal rod is recovery and multiplying etc. Its advantage is to achieve anchoring by means of pulling the plastic cone by metal bolt, to make the plastic expansion case close to the rock hole wall. This kind of bolt has abandoned the traditional resin-glue mode. No need anchoring agent, lowered labor intensity, less conveying amount makes it lower cost and energy saving. It can be widely used in the safety supporting fields such as coal mine tunnel, culvert and so on.

Ⅱ.Operating principle |
|
Anchoring principle of the bolt with plastic expansion case is to cause a radial force by means of action of initial bolt plastic expansion case and the angular surface of cone, friction shall happen so that to achieve anchoring effect. Then pull the plastic cone move axially through the final anchor to strengthen the action force between plastic expansion case and rock hole wall. The required anchoring strength shall then be achieved. |

Ⅳ. Installation method |
(1). To screw the thread of metal rod head into plastic cone nut until can not rotate further. To cover the expansion case, pick a specially made anchoring facility, which is equal length with the metal, push the plastic cone together with the plastic expansion stably into the bottom of the hole, and ensure the plastic expansion case fit with the plastic cone;
(2). To hit end of the special anchoring facilities with a hammer not less than 1.5kg, to make the plastic expansion case move axially to the range of specified line. ( mark on the special anchoring facilities so that to fix its axial distance ), to make the expansion case closely touch the hole wall, thus, self-lock happened, initial anchor finished.
(3). To assemble the tray, fasten the nut with torque spanner. Fasten torque shall be 70N•m for M14 metal rod; 110N•m for M16 metal rod; 140N•m for the M18 metal rod, final anchoring shall finish, installation all be done.

(1)Drilling holes with 42 (32) drilling bits, diameters of rock holes shall be within the scope of 42+2.0mm(32+2.0mm). Depth of the holes shall be slightly smaller (40mm-50mm ) than total length of plastic expansion bolts. Sand or dust inside the rock holes must be cleared (cleansing with water or blowing with wind). Holes must be perpendicular.
(2)This product is mainly used for being assistant anchoring. Test shall be done strictly and use carefully under the environment that the rock stratum is extremely loose (pressure resistance strength <14.75MPa,f<1), ambient temp. is lower than 0℃ and higher than 40℃.
(3). Avoid to make the final anchoring without doing initial anchoring. Pulling and stretching test shall be done after the final anchoring reach the moment torque. |
Ⅵ. Recovery of metal bolt
|
Clench the tail of the bolt with spanner, rotate it counter-clock wisely and make the bolt off the cone (integrated rotated out). To remove the tray, recover it and the bolt.

Ⅶ. Storage and routine maintenance
|
Stored in clean, dry and ventilate places, and place the products 10 cm high from the ground. Keep the temperature. Within the range of -3-40℃. Piled height 5 layers. Avoid sunlight. Plastic parts shall strictly avoid impact in case cracks or breakage occur that influence its physical performance. Metal rods should be stacked perpendicularly ( axial angle shall be smaller than 30°) or place horizontally, but must be make them fully touch the horizontal support or pad in order to avoid bending and influence installation. |
